Backstory

Born from a desire to retain the fundamental practice and reverence of the craft, Artefact Press was created to provide fine quality photographic prints for those who have an appreciation for the art form and a commitment to the highest standard. In a world where images have become fleeting and commonplace, we often miss the opportunity to stop and observe the beauty around us. With that in mind, I sought to capture moments and places that inspire a sense of awe that elevate the viewing experience.

The Photographer

I studied Photography at Kensington and Chelsea College in 2014, and went on to work in genres such as events, fashion and e-commerce. Other studies include courses at Central Saint Martins (UAL) in Design, Pattern Making and Art Direction, as well as A History of Photography at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Inside Out: The workings of a Photographic Gallery at The Photographer’s Gallery in London. I have a personal inclination towards nature, minimalism, still life, cityscapes and conceptual portraiture.
